NRITS is an annual conference focused on rural applications of intelligent transportation systems. Attendees come from a wide variety of ITS disciplines, including public and private transportation, transit, tourism, law enforcement, trucking, public safety, and medical service professionals. Sessions “will bring together both traditional and non-traditional ITS users to address such issues as rural safety, creating and maintaining livable/sustainable communities, multi-agency coordination, and workforce development, as well as EMS and transit issues.” All four Consortium member states will be represented.

Minutes from the steering committee meeting and a follow-up report from NRITS will be posted here after the event. Please check back.
