WSRTC Update - March 6th, 2019

UPDATE: Wednesday, March 6th, 2019

Two new pages have been added to the WSRTC website!

The California-Oregon Advanced Transportation System (COATS) project and its successor, the WSRTC, have successfully advanced rural transportation for over twenty years. None of the accomplishments of the group would be possible without the skills, efforts, expertise, action, determination, and leadership of individual transportation professionals from the member agencies and states.

The Steering Committee page lists the members of the committee that direct the work of the Western States Rural Transportation Consortium. The DOT leads for each member state are bolded. Individuals from the member research institutions and the FHWA are also listed on the page.

Some of the people who were instrumental in the COATS-WSRTC efforts have since retired or moved on to other positions or responsibilities. The WSRTC feels it is important to recognize with Emeritus Status those who have significantly contributed to the success of COATS and the WSRTC. We’ve posted a new Emeritus page to recognize our Emeritus members and highlight some of their contributions.
