The charter document for the Western States Rural Transportation Consortium has been officially signed by the Consortium members. The Charter and the Consortium’s Mission, Vision, and Goals can be reviewed here.
An annual meeting of the Western States Rural Transportation Consortium Steering Committee will be held Tuesday, November 9th, 2010, in Yreka, California. Representatives from California, Oregon, Nevada, and Washington will be in attendance, along with researchers from the Western Transportation Institute at Montana State University. Agenda topics include Consortium incubator projects for year one and year two, Phase 2 of One Stop Shop, and COATS Phase 4 project updates including the Western States Forum, radar speed sign warrants, deployment assistance, and evaluation of the Fredonyer icy curve warning system.
